Post-doctoral scientist at Ames Laboratory, Iowa, USA (2007) and Cambridge University, UK (2007-2009); full time scientist at Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin, Germany (2009-2011) and Associate Professor at Centro Universitario de la Defensa, Zaragoza, Spain (2011-2021).

Associate Professor at the Materials Science Department of the University of Zaragoza since 2021.

President of the Condensed Matter Division (DFMC-GEFES) of the Spanish Royal Physics Society (2020-to date).
