RASMIA researchers @ International Workshop on caloric materials

Researchers from the RASMIA group, M Ángeles Laguna and Vera Cuartero, attended the workshop on Molecule-based magneto/electro/mechano-Calorics within the project financed by the European Comission HORIZON-MSCA-2022-DN-01 (IP: Marco Evangelisti).
M Ángeles Laguna is responsible for a PhD student within the project, in collaboration with the Institute for Microelectronics and Microsystems (IMM-CNR) in Bologna (Italy), which deals with On-chip microrefrigeration with molecule-based magnetic refrigerants.
Vera Cuartero gave a talk titled Shedding synchrotron light on caloric materials, where she introduced synchrotron radiation to the PhD candidates and showed recent results from RASMIA researchers on electrocaloric (j.jallcom.2024.173923) and barocaloric (chemrxiv-2024-wcb80) materials.
